As a student of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges, I prefer to computerize the card catalog of the library so that the student will not get a harder time in looking for the books needed, the student will just click the desired number of which the topic is indicated, and it will simply appear where you can look for the kind of books. And it is less effort, less time and more convenient.

Justify or contradicts the MIS trends by citing examples:

Companies are using MIS as a competitive strategy. For me, it is very important because Globally many companies are using MIS to be more competitive to their competitors. For example you are working in a company that are using MIS and the other companies don't have MIS, it is an advantage for the company who use MIS because through this the company can be more productive

The most striking idea for me is that there will be a greater opportunities if I have knowledge about management Information System (MIS). Knowing that most of the company today are using MIS for their reference to all technologies, procedures, systems, so it is important to study MIS because it really help me in many ways especially I can apply this in my course which is Business Administration because no one knows that I can be a future manager someday in a certain company or in my own company.

Management Information System

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a general name for the academic discipline covering the application of people, technologies, and procedures — collectively called information systems — to solve business problems. MIS are distinct from regular information systems in that they are used to analyze other information systems applied in operational activities in the organization.[1] Academically, the term is commonly used to refer to the group of information management methods tied to the automation or support of human decision making, e.g. Decision Support Systems, Expert systems, and Executive information systems.[1]
